An important antique English large regency 19th century giltwood mirror. The whole carved in solid limewood and pine and gilded in 24ct gold leaf. Retaining its original mercury backed mirror plate the frame centred by a finely carved eagle and flanked by carved floral rosettes and a pair of Ho-ho birds. This antique Georgian Geo IV/William IV gilt overmantle mirror is truly spectacular and would grace any home. Initialled and dated.
