This is an extremely rare original Art Deco overmantle gilt wood mirror retaining it's original 24 ct water gilded gold leaf finish. Being restrained in design with a simple carved frame with lower side stepped and carved detail with flame art deco motif. Retaining the original mirror plate with a very unusual triple bevelled design. Excellent condition. Circa 1920. Measures 52"w x 52"h x 3"d.( 43"w excluding carved side detail) mirror plate 37.5"w x 47.5"h
