Description
An Arts & Crafts Cotswold Style limed oak refectory table by Heal's c.1920. Constructed in solid oak with twin pedestals with chamfered and original hand painted chip carved geometric (triangular) edge detail to the top. This table makes a stylish compact dining table but can equally be used as a side or writing table.Provenance: This table was made by Heal's for the Cadbury's boardroom at Bournville c.1920.
Offered in excellent restored and refinished condition. Firm and solid in the frame. The hand painted edge detail is original.The colours have worn away on one side of the table. Some minor edge ware to the corners.
