Description

The table: An oak dining table designed by the architect Philip Tilden in collaboration with Ambrose Heal for Winston Churchill's Chartwell residence c.1922 and made by Heal & Son c.1925. This table is constructed in solid, well figured quarter sawn oak with gun barrel supports.

Offered in excellent condition. The top has been refinished and the base has been cleaned and waxed to maintain much of the original patina.

Dimensions: The table stands 29.75" high, 72" wide and 36" deep.
