Description

An Arts & Crafts Cotswold Style oak bureau designed by Paul Matt for Brynmawr Furniture c.1930. Constructed in well figured quarter sawn oak with a generous fall front desk over an arrangement of three over two drawers. The bureau is stylised with stepped and bevelled panels and wedge shaped handles held in place with exposed pegs.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition.

Dimensions: Width 33", Height 42" and depth 19.5" closed, 32" open. When open, the desk top area is approx 31.5" wide by 22" deep. When the fall front is closed, there is an area 29.75" wide, 18.75" deep and 1.75" high for the storage of laptops and similar.
