George III Satinwood Table English circa 1785 - 1795 18th century George III period West Indian satinwood demi lune card table. The semi-circular top is crossbanded in tulipwood with boxwood and ebony stringing. The large satinwood banding is intricately inlaid with a fine floral pattern with penwork highlights. The top opens back onto twin gate legs to reveal a green baize playing surface above a tulipwood concave thumbnail edge. The crossbanded frieze has been veneered with choice West Indian satinwood and tulipwood flutes sit above finely tapered satinwood and brown ebony stringing. Dimensions Height 76.00cm (29.92 inches) Width 96.50cm (37.99 inches) Depth 43.50cm (17.13 inches) Delivery within the Uk is included in the asking price.
