Offered for sale is this superb set of eight Edwardian mahogany dining chairs in excellent original condition consisting of eight single chairs. The set of eight Edwardian mahogany dining chairs have moulded shaped backs with vertical slats carved with Corinthian columns at the top and bottom with the slats between line inlaid with boxwood and ebony and crossbanded in satinwood. The serpentine fronted seat rails have a moulded edge with drop - in seats currently being reupholstered in a neutral cream and gold fabric standing on square tapered supports. The chairs are a rich mellow brown colour and have original patination.The set of 8 antique mahogany chairs are in superb having been waxed along with the seats reupholstered. These chairs are of superb quality with two being stamped with the name " F Hassan ", they need to be seen to appreciate the quality. .
