Offered for sale is this superb quality set of eight Chippendale style dining chairs in excellent condition consisting of six single and two carver chairs. The chairs are a rich brown mahogany colour with original patination and date to between 1900 - 1920. The set of eight mahogany Chippendale style chairs have a carved yoke shaped back rail with pierced and carved centre splat above drop - in seats newly reupholstered in a neutral gold fabric and standing on cabriole legs with carved shoulders and ball and claw feet. These are a superb quality set of chairs with complex seat shape and shaped back legs, these characteristics are only found on the best quality chairs.The set of 8 antique mahogany chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats reupholstered.
