Offered for sale is this superb set of six Scottish Art Nouveau mahogany dining chairs dating to about 1906 consisting of six single chairs . The chairs are a lovely mellow brown mahogany colour and of exceptional quality with crisply carved back rail of styilised "trees" and tulip carved centre splats with newly reupholstered seats on square tapered supports with squab feet. The chairs are stamped with the Rd No 460348 and were manufactured by Joseph Johnstone Ltd of Loch Winnoch. The set of 6 antique mahogany chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats newly reupholstered.
