Offered for sale is this superb quality set of ten late Victorian oak Cromwellian style dining chairs consisting of eight single and two carver chairs. This good set of chairs date from about 1890 and are of exceptionally good quality and good colour - golden oak. The backs are upholstered with reeded uprights above overstuffed seats and on spiral and gun barrel turned supports with stretchers and bun feet enclosing castors on the front legs.The chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned revived and polished with all joints firm and the seats reupholstered in a claret and gold John Lewis fabric. We have been dealing in dining suites for in excess of 25 years and have sold over 1000 sets of chairs and hundreds of dining tables to satisfied customers.
