Offered for sale is this fine quality set of eight oak Jacobean style dining chairs consisting of six single and two carver chairs. This good set of chairs date from about 1920 and have backs that are extensively pierced and carved with robust barley twist supports above newly reupholstered drop-in seats and on barley twist legs with bun feet.The chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned revived and polished with all joints firm and the seats reupholstered in a gold John Lewis fabric. The chairs have a registration number to the base (a sure sign of good quality) that dates the registered design to 1917, it also means that the manufacturer can be identified through the British Museum.
