Offered for sale is this good early Victorian mahogany dining table measuring 65" x 51.5" extending to 84.5" x 51.5" with one leaf on baluster turned legs and with original lignum vitae wooden castors. The d ended shaped top has a double lipped moulded edge and is of a very dense attractive swirly grain, probably Cuban mahogany. The extending mechanism works very smoothly and the table is kept together with brass "piano clips". The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished retaining a lovely warm patina and is in excellent condition.
