Antique Arts & Crafts Satnwood Wardrobe Compactum by the esteemed makers Shapland and Petter of Barnstable and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality satinwood which Rosewood crossbanded edges throughout. To the centre there is a shaped pediment top and cornice with cross banded frieze with small inlaid panel above an oval beveled mirrored door with cross banded edges and original brass handle, this is flanked on either side by an architectural shaped and moulded cornice top with crossbanded frieze and small inlaid panel to the centre. To one side there is a full length panelled door and to the other side there is a shorter panelled door above two short drawers. Internally and to one side there is a shelf above four sliding trays. And there is double hanging space with brass rails. To the base there are two long drawers all of which are Ash lined and with original brass handles and locks all of which have the Shapland and Petter makers stamp. It stands on a deep plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
