Description

A very good George III , Sheraton period, mahogany sideboard of generous proportions. Very well constructed and of serpentine form. The top and the drawer fronts are decorated with inlaid stringing and cross banding in tulipwood. The long central drawer is flanked on one side by a pair of drawers and on the other side by a deep drawer fitted as a cellarette. With lovely brass handles and charming bone escutcheons. All standing on tapering legs which terminate in spade feet. This impressive sideboard has a real country house feel to it. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in very good original condition.
