Description

This is a striking Art Deco Cut Glass and Silver Plate Cocktail Shaker. The glass body has all over tooth cut decoration and a silver plate collar around the top rim. The strainer lid is domed and the cap is plain.

The cocktail shaker has no marks so we cannot say who made it but it is British and dates to around the 1930s to 1950s.

Condition is good, with no chips or cracks in the glass and no dings or dents in the silver plate. The plate around the lid and cap is a little rubbed from many years of use but it still looks very stylish. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The cocktail shaker is 22cm / 8.7ins high and 8cm / 3.1ins in diameter at its widest point. It weighs 802g / 28.3oz.
