Description: Pair of ancient sculptures in silvered bronze resting on circular bases in red griotte marble.The figures represent two dancing young people, one with a tambourine and the other with a mandolin in hand who rest with only one foot on the ground giving the figure a simultaneously plastic and sinuous movement.
Both are presented simply dressed in shorts, highlighting the naked part of the body.
On the bases they have the signature "A.Carrier"
Provenance: France 19th century.
