Description
A Fine Quality Russian silver cigarette case, with hallmarks for 1908. Silvermaker is possibly Itska Lozinky (1892-1908).Of rounded rectangular form, with sunburst ribbed decoration. This antique cigarette case is fitted with a finely engineered fully hallmarked, flush hinged cover, denoting an item of fine quality.
The cover is fitted with a hallmarked gold set, cabochon sapphire thumb piece.
Although slightly too early for art deco, this piece does have the look of deco design.

ConditionIn excellent condition with no dents damage or repair. Some light signs of usage on the gilt interior. Excellent strong hinge. Snaps shut with precision.
