Description
A late 17thc / early 18thc plug bayonet of fine quality. Ebony handle with silver mounts and a colichemarde blade engraved with trophies of war, pineapple, a man with a word etc. It is rare to find a plug bayonet with this type of blade.DimensionsApprox. 19.5" total length, blade is 13.75" long.
ConditionThe blade is pitted and has some nicks out of the edge at the tip. the ebony handle has a split in it but is sturdy and well attached.
