Antique Brass Coal Helmet/scuttle of very generous proportions, constructed in heavy gauge Brass. The top handle & rear handle are fixed to the main scuttle using traditional blacksmith made copper rivets.Photographs show the stitching at the rear.
Main body of scuttle has hammered out decoration.
The scuttle has not been overcleaned.
