Description

A stunning 1950's powder compact by Volupte, USA.  This pretty powder compact comprises a gold tone body with a fabulous design of rope twist squares and in each square sits a coloured crystal giving a elegant sparkle.  The colours are subtle and consist of clear, pink, light green, purple and blue crystals in a random design.  Opening the compact reveals a square mirror in the lid and a powder well.  The lid of the powder well has the Volupte USA logo on the cover.

This delicious compact is in excellent condition throughout.  There are some light surface scratches on the internal powder well cover and some wear and scratches to the base of the compact.  The mirror is in excellent condition - there is a tiny pin head spot to the middle left of the mirror.  The compact opens easily and closes with a firm click.  There is a mark by the left of the hinge.
