Good quality and unusual inlaid mahogany secretaire cabinet / bureau.
The hinged lid and fall front ( with jotter and memo holder ) opening to a well fitted interior with a series of drawers and compartments including fitted candle holders, there are two further drawers and stationery compartments below and the letter opener doubles as a tool to open the secret compartment fitted to the back of the cabinet, raised on elegant, tapering legs.
With some marks, scuffs etc., overall this lovely quality cabinet is in good sound condition and really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
