fabulous large Japanese panel intricately embroidered in silver metal threads depicting birds, flowers, branches etc on a dark silk like ground having been tastefully remounted at some point in a gilt faux bamboo frame.
with some wear and tear commensurate with age , this wonderful embroidery really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated for the beautifully decorative piece it is as the reflections in the glass make it very difficult to photograph.
