Early Silkscreen Signed Print dated 1970 titled "Ok My Side Too" from a limited edition of 150 Pencil Signed numbered editions this impression numbered 9/150 from the edition of 150 editions. The silk screen print has the impressed stamp bottom left for the London Arts Group. The silk screen print is housed in its original frame and has its original Michael Challenger & the London Arts Group label to the reverse of the backboard.The print is pencil signed Chall & dated 1970
Michael Challenger Comtemporary Listed Artist born 1939 studied at the Goldsmiths College of Art (1960-64) and the Slade School of Art London (1964-66). In the following years he taught at the Slade School, Goldsmiths College and the Chesterfield College of Art. He is a member of the Printmakers’ Council of Great Britain and was a recipient of the Sainsbury Award in sculpture in 1966.
Michael Challenger has work held in both public and many private collections.
