Moving the wooden slats back and forth and the mother bird repeatedly bends forward to pop a morsel of food into her greedy youngster's open beak as he arises from the nest in anticipation. Most probably bought back from somewhere like Austria or another part of Europe that specialised in wooden toys of this nature when new it has stood the test of time well and retains all of its original paint with just, we judge, the very tip of the mother's beak a little foreshortened. ....Adult bird is some 6 inches in complete toy about 9 inches long.Price includes postage to any UK address.
