Probably from the West Country this chair has an exceptional colour of warm toffee with hints of red and heavy traces of the original green paint.

This English Windsor chair has a flat-planked fruitwood seat ,simple strong lap-jointed fruitwood armrests and a tall bow back with turned front legs with an H stretcher configuration.

Lovely warm honest colour and patina, the kind of surface that tells the story of this chairs long and useful live,traces of old worm as expected.
