Description

An unusual antique Georgian oak gateleg table with drawer dating from circa 1800. With single frieze drawer to the front with brass drop handle and standing on turned legs it has a leaf and a gate leg which swings out to open up the table as a work space or kitchen table. A multi-purpose table which could be used as a desk with the leaf down, which becomes a work table or a side table which becomes a kitchen table.

Condition Report:
Good condition. Solid and sturdy. Good warm colour and patination to the oak. General wear and marks commensurate with age. Some old worm damage to the foot of a couple of the legs (treated with worm killer as a precaution).
