Description

A characterful pair of antique French oak cupboard/armoire doors dating from the circa mid 19th century. Made from solid oak, moulded and panelled construction with visible pegged joints with original hinges to each side. To the middle of the doors is a pair of stunning original brass escutcheons, and also an original lock (no key).
The doors have lovely panelling and mouldings and have a beautiful rich patina. These doors, originally from a French armoire, would add character to any home – they could be used as window shutters, doors for a room or for a fitted wardrobe.

Good condition. Beautiful original warm patina. Some old worm holes to the backs which have been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
