Framed Boris O'Klein Dirty Dogs Engraving
Artist - Boris Klein (1893-1985), a French cartoonist and artist known for his 'dirty dogs of Paris' pictures.
Title - 'Comme nos Maitres!' (trans.'As Our Master')
Details - Hand-coloured etching. Printed along the top is 'Copyright by O'Klein' and 'Eau forte originale', which translates as original etching. The print dates from around the 1940s. It is signed by the artist beneath the print and hand-titled in pencil beneath the print. Framed and glazed in a black-finished frame.
Condition - Overall in good condition with good colours. There is some slight discolouration and grubbiness to the paper and some spotting. The frame is worn with losses to the corners.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Frame - 51.5cm by 23cm, 1cm deep.
