Artist Biography
Marine and landscape painter in oil and watercolour, illustrator and art teacher. Born in North Shields and began exhibiting in 1884 at the Bewick Club. A full time professional artist who exhibited through out his career in the North East however he travelled regularly to the continent and on one occasion had an exhibition in Spain.
