A nineteenth century pottery lustre transfer ware water jug commemorating the life of JOSIAH-WEDGEWOOD 1730-1795 with him pictured holding a model of the Portland Vase with further scrolling and Greek key cut decorations with silver lustre on a vibrant turquoise ground .Most likely by F&R Pratt of Fenton Staffordshire circa 1820/30 and marked 966 above 2
This piece is in excellent condition throughout
