Description

This early 19th century percussion pistol is unusual inasmuch as it is double barrelled. It needs taking in hand by a collector, someone who knows about them. It has been neglected and needs cleaning. Until I used a little WD 40 to help remove some of the grime both hammers would cock and both triggers work but only to carefully lower the hammers again. Since obviously a little cleaner inside the left hammer won't quite hold, it slips off whatever holds it up but a little back pressure on the trigger and it stays put.
