Description

A lovely Reprodux corner drinks cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 20th century.

The cabinet sits on two shapely bracket feet at the front and a single bracket foot at the rear. It has a stepped integral cornice with decorative carvings below dentil mouldings.

The cabinet consists of a top section above a base cupboard.

The top section is of a two panel design with side hinged door that sits recessed from the base. The right hand door is fitted with a working lock with a decorative brass escutcheon (key supplied).

The interior of the top cabinet is fitted with two fixed wooden recessed shelves with a decorative front brass gallery. The top cabinet is fitted with a light.

The base cupboard is also of two panel design, with each panel being a side hinged door. The interior of the base cupboard is fitted with a fixed recessed wooden shelf.

There is a small mirrored pull out slide above the base cupboard.

The door fronts have an oval beaded design. The right hand door is fitted with a working lock. The left hand door is secured by a rear mounted top lever bolt

The cabinet has a height of 68.5" (174cm), a width of 26" (66cm) at the base and a depth of 18.5" (47cm) from the rear back corner to the outer top edge of the base unit.

This lovely vintage reprodux corner drinks cabinet, like all reprodux furniture, has been constructed to a high standard and remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to the front edge at the top of the base unit, around the mirror in the pull out slide and to some edges.

This remains a very stylish and elegant vintage reprodux cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
