Silver George IV Vinaigrette, Birmingham 1829
D.J.MASSEY & SON
This is a Sterling Silver George IV vinaigrette with a low pyramid shaped case top and bottom. The cartouche is engraved with a “forget me not”. The interior is gilded and the grill is hand pierced and hand engraved with a floral design. Both hinges are in good order and both lids close firmly.
The vinaigrette is hallmarked Birmingham 1829, for maker John Bettridge.

Depth......................15mm.
