Description

A 17th century dutch drawer-leaf dining table and constructed from oak. The table has a beautiful rich patina and is a very versatile and functional piece of furniture, having the advantage of being used as a center table or side table, even a small dining table seating 4 people with the leaves retracted, or if you're having family or friends over for dinner, the extended leaves gives the much needed extra space for those welcome guests accomadating for 8 people.
The table has stunning bulbous turned legs with small ring collars below, the legs are joined by the most wonderful worn stretchers. Above the legs is a heavily moulded cladded fascade with carved spandrels below, in the center is a drawer which is perfect for place matts and fine cutlery.

The table has some later restorations which you expect to see with furniture of this age, along with some old wood worm and cracks in areas of the timbers. Overall the table is in very good condition for its age and is ready for use.
