Description

An early 20th century five foot wide cast iron model of a cannon, with a 92cm triple ring barrel. This is a superb decorative piece with the iron carriage stamped R M I. These cannons were manufactured in Horwich, Lancashire, England by a large industrial firm that worked mainly in the railway industry in the 19th and 20th centuries. The wheels move and the barrel is hinged. circa 1920's
