This lovely quality mahogany table is not stamped Gillows but is very similar to many of their recorded early 19th designs and is certainly of the quality to be expected from this Company.
The well figured rectangular top with bold bobbin turned edge with plain frieze accomadating two concealed end drawers. All raised on unusual baluster reeded and capstan turned end pillars down to strong squat cabriol legs ending in carved dolphin nosed toes concealing the original inset castors.
