Description

This is a very pretty Mid 19th Century Satin Birch Writing Table , highligted with the clever use of contrasting mahogany beading and inset purple wood roundels.Its absolutely lovely quality , not stamped but clearly by a good cabinet maker most probably Holland and Sons.
The shaped top with original gilt embossed leather over plain frieze with mahogany beading enclosing two mahogany lined drawers. Raised on twin fluted and mahogany inlaid end pillars to each end down to flat platforms joined by a conforming stretcher and raised on swept legs ending in scrolled toes and concealing original brass castors.
