Description

A shapely small kidney shape sofa by Howard & Sons. Having a buttoned back and sprung seat, the whole raised on turned legs with the original castors. This early example having a numbered back leg with the original Howard & Sons label to stretcher rail. Superb condition throughout and newly upholstered in H&S monogrammed ticking to replicate the original fabric exactly. English, Circa 1860.
