A pair of Elsley cast iron fireback plates, of rectangular form each with a hound reaching for a bird and background ruins in a rural setting, all setwithin cartouche with rocaille cast surrounds and inscribed ‘ELSLEY’ to the reverse.
English mid to late 19th century.
