A truly exceptional Welsh Oak Pot-board Dresser from Burry Port in south Carmarthenshire, of outstanding quality and craftsmanship c1790.
This is without doubt the best and prettiest example of a dresser from this region that we have seen in a very long time. An extremely rare super simple design with unbelievable burr oak drawers, something we have never seen in a dresser from this area before.
Condition, colour and surface are breathtaking. It stands at full original height and is superbly solid and sturdy. All drawers are lovely and clean inside and run smoothly. The perfect Welsh Dresser in every aspect. If you have been looking for a truly special dresser then this is the one, in the flesh it is simply jaw dropping.
