Description

A rarely found entirely original Charles II oak side table with single drop flap, original timbers throughout, even original forged iron hinges.

The colour is exemplary and the patination entirely natural with a sheen like glass.

The well turned legs united by original stretchers and are peg jointed.

The gate leg sweeps out smoothly to support the drop leaf. The leaf itself has developed a slight smile over the centuries but is entirely usable.

An extremely attractive and original 17th Century English oak table.


Dimensions are:

29 inches high, 36 inches wide, 26 inches deep when fully open, 13 inches deep when leaf is down.
