Description
An Arts and Crafts magazine stand, by Liberty & Co, c1904. This piece of furniture was advertised in the Liberty & Co Yuletide gifts catalogue of 1903. Made of solid oak, two side flaps that open out for magazine storage, a book trough below. It has some lovely detail: moulded curved edges to the flaps, original brass handle and hinges, exposed dovetails and shaped plank sides and feet. In very good condition, two small triangular drawers to the side are missing.Dimensions: H 80cm + handle, W43cm, D26cm.
