Chester Silver "football" Watch Fob Medal, 1932

Photos

Description

Silver watch fob/medal.
Silver fobs were often used to decorate a gentleman's watch chain. They were also frequently engraved and awarded as sporting trophies which we presume is the intent for this one as it features a football player surrounded by a laurel wreath to the obverse. But it has not been personalised/engraved.

The fob is fully hallmarked for Chester 1932 and the makers Bendall Brothers.

The Bendall brothers, Gordon, Henry and David, operated from Spencer Street, Birmingham.

The fob measures 3 cm (1.1") in diameter, excluding the suspension ring, and weighs 12 grams.
All measurements are approximate.

The fob is in excellent condition, with only minimal surface scratches and wear.

Please study all photos as these form an important part of the description.
