Description

Silver sugar sifter featuring a superb Art Nouveau floral design finial.

The sifter is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield, 1905, and the makers Joseph Rodgers and Sons.

Joseph Rodgers operated from Norfolk Street, Sheffield.
The ladle shaped sifter is 11 cm (4.3") long. The pierced bowl is 3.5 cm (1.25") in diameter and 1 cm (.5") deep. It weighs 19 grams.
All measurements are approximate.

The sifter is in very good condition, though the handle arc does appear slightly flattened in the middle.

Please study all photos as these form an important part of the description.
