Description

This Royal Worcester cup and saucer is hand painted with a pink roses design known as "Spilsbury roses".
The painting is unsigned.

Both pieces carry the early puce colour backstamp with the date code for 1918.

The cup measures 8.5 cm (3.4") in diameter across the top (excluding handle) by 5.7 cm (2.3") tall. The saucer measures 14 cm (5.5") in diameter. All measurements are approximate.

Both pieces are free from chips, cracks or restoration. Only one small surface scratch to the stem of the rose on the reverse of the cup has been noted.
