Description

Royal Worcester "Fruit" dish.
Hand painted and signed by E Phillips (Ernest).

The blue backstamp dates this dish to 1912.

Ernest Phillips worked at Royal Worcester from 1890 to 1932.
He specialised in neat flower groups and still life, but also created some fruit designs which are quite rare.

The dish is 23cm in diameter (9"), and is 3 cm (1") deep.
All measurements are approximate.

The dish is in excellent condition ... no chips, cracks or crazing, and only minimal gilt trim wear.
