Description

Royal Worcester cabinet plate.
This plate feature a thick rich gilt surround on a blue ground.
The central reserve is painted with fruit.
The plate was painted and signed by the artist J Read.

The plate carries a gold backstamp of the version that was in use between 1966 and 1974.
There are also some impressed marks on the reverse - "J" "10" and "03".

The plate is approximately 27cm in diameter (10.5").

The plate is in excellent condition ... no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration.
