Description

This would have been very grand in it's day, the original gilding is very worn and there have been numerous repairs (see pictures of the underside) and the inkwells have lost their ornate tops.

Even with all that, this is still a rather striking piece. There are twin glass inkwells (couple of nibble to one corner) and twin pen rests. The base is engrave DEPOSEE.
