Description

Made by the iconic E. Gomme company, an early Librenza dining suite, between 1953 and 1960
It consists of 4 butterfly back dining chairs and a drop leaf table.

All pieces have been totally refurbished/upcycled. The black paintwork has been stripped by hand and then repainted with a hard wearing satin finish black paint, finished off with a light coat of Annie Sloan black wax.
The table top and chair backs have also been stripped by hand of all traces of their original finish then oiled with teak oil to give a lovely matt finish which also highlights the lovely grain of the wood.
The seat pads have been recovered in a complementary fabric. The original EG labels have been rescued from the original chair fabric and attched to the underside of the seats.

All pieces are in a good solid condition with no loose joints. Please do remember that this set is over 60 years old and although we have refurbished it to a high standard, their are obvious signs of use like dings and dents in the timber from it's obvious use. Please see photographs for more detail and please do ask if mre photographs are required.

We also have a matching Librenza sideboard and demi-lume table in the workshop and they should be available soon.

DELIVERY FOR LARGE ITEMS...
Shipping is included for England and Wales only. For Scotland and NI please get in touch for a shipping quote.
We always use a fully insured courier but he is usually on his own, so please when you make arrangements with the him for delivery please make sure there is someone available to help him if required. Collection is usually well within 14 days of the order being placed and delivery is usually 8 to 10 days after that.

POSTAGE ON SMALLER ITEMS...
For UK deliveries we use Royal Mail 2nd class or Parcelforce 48 and always signed for and always fully insured
Sending parcels abroad we use parcel2go, we always fully insure each parcel and use signed for delivery.
If you are outside of the UK or shipping is not quoted for your country and you would like to purchase this item, then please contact us and we will get a postage/shipping quote for you.

RETURNS...
We will gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is not as described or broken in transit.
However, if you just simply change your mind and there is nothing wrong with the item then we do not accept returns.
