Description

A 70 piece dinner service by S Hancocks & Sons between 1906 and 1912.
It has a lovely pattern in blue with orange and gilded rims and would suit all times of the year and any occassion.

Condition...
Some pieces are crazed but do not stop thier use. Some of the gilding on the edges of items has also worn in places.
Of course, this set is definitely not dishwasher proof.
There are 2 chipped dinner plates and one oval serving plate is chipped. Other than these, no chips or cracks have been observed.
Generally is good usuable condition considering their age and use.

The set consists of the following...
12 dinner plates, 26.5cm diameter (1 is badly chipped, 1 has small crack)
12 x salad plates, 24cm diameter
12 x side plates, 20cm diameter
6 x soup bowls, 24cm diameter
6 x oval serving plates, 44.5cm, 40cm, 35.5cm (chipped), 29.5cm and 2 x 26cm long
1 x lidded tureen, height to top of handle 14cm, length handle to handle 27cm
1 x tureen with no lid, height 7cm, length handle to handle 27cm
2 x lidded sauce tureens on stands, length handle to handle 18cm, height to top of handle 15cm
1 x serving spoon, length 15cm
6 x teacups, height 7.5cm
6 x saucers, 16cm diameter
1 x milk jug, height 10.5cm
1 x sugar bowl, 13.5cm diameter
